Short answer: Do not treat a billing threshold, an agency's first top-up and a campaign budget as the same number. The official Taboola help pages reviewed for this guide do not state one minimum deposit that applies to every account. Confirm the amount and payment arrangement for your account before transferring funds.
If you have seen $100, $500 and $50 a day mentioned in different places, they may answer different questions. Here is how to read them.
Taboola lists automatic billing, prepayment and monthly invoicing. Automatic billing charges a card at a spending threshold. Prepayment funds campaigns before they run. Monthly invoicing uses an approved credit arrangement. The detailed payment guide says prepayment requires dedicated sales and account-management contacts; monthly invoicing also requires approval and a credit check. Ask which arrangement is available to you.
In an agency-supported setup, ask separately about the supplier's first top-up, subsequent top-ups and service charges. A supplier's commercial minimum does not establish a platform-wide rule.
The official payment guide says non-self-service card payments may attract a regional processing fee of 2%–3.5%. Confirm whether this applies to your arrangement and whether charges are added to spend or deducted from prepaid funds. Ask your bank or payment provider about its own transfer and exchange costs too.
Get two numbers in the quote: the money you transfer and the balance available for ads. If they differ, ask for every deduction to be itemized. For a fuller comparison, use our agency-account quote guide.
Suppose your target CPA is $20. Ten times that target is $200 a day; a seven-day plan at that level is $1,400 in planned media spend. This is a planning example, not YC pricing, a required deposit or a forecast of results. Your actual acquisition cost could be higher.
Decide the market, offer, conversion event and maximum test spend first. Then choose a funding amount that supports that plan. The smallest possible transfer may let you start without giving you enough evidence to decide whether to continue.
Check spending controls as well. Taboola's budget guide notes that daily spend can sometimes reach twice the set daily cap, and describes monthly and lifetime spending limits. Read the current controls before treating a daily figure as a strict cash limit.
