Ad Account Top-Up Not Showing? Check These Three Stages

You have sent the payment receipt, but your ad account still shows the old balance. Before sending another payment, find out where the first one is in the funding process.

Payment sent, payment received and account funded are three different stages. With an agency-supported account, the agency's funding record and the platform's available balance may also update separately.

1. Has the payment cleared?

A bank receipt confirms a transfer instruction or transaction; it does not by itself confirm the amount received by the payee. Ask the supplier to confirm the cleared amount, currency and payment reference.

For YC orders, account funding is based on actual cleared funds received under the agreed payment instructions. Transfer and payment charges are borne by the client as agreed. If the amount received differs from the invoice, resolve the difference before assuming that the full invoice value has been credited.

Use the payment instructions issued for your order. If a payment is delayed, check its status with your payment provider and ask the supplier whether it has arrived. Do not make a duplicate transfer simply because the dashboard has not changed.

2. Has the money been assigned to the right account?

If the supplier has received the funds, ask whether the funding request has been allocated to the intended platform and account. This matters when a buyer uses multiple ad accounts or buys across several media platforms.

Send the account reference and payment reference through the agreed support channel. Confirm the requested funding amount and currency. A received payment can still be waiting for allocation or an upstream funding step; ask for the actual status rather than accepting a vague “processing” reply.

3. Does the platform show spendable balance?

Check the balance in the correct account and the funding or billing records available to you. Taboola / Realize's official guidance says that monthly-invoice and prepayment advertisers see their account balance as the amount remaining to spend. Other billing models may show balances differently.

If funding has been confirmed but the displayed balance does not match, ask the supplier to reconcile the funding amount, recent spend and adjustments. Do not treat an agency receipt as proof of the current platform balance.

If the balance is there but ads are not spending

That is a different problem. Check whether campaigns are active, whether the ads are approved, and whether the account has a payment or access notice. Available funds alone do not establish that a campaign is ready to run. Follow the relevant platform's instructions for any account or policy issue.

A short message you can send to support

We sent [amount and currency] on [date], reference [reference]. Please confirm the cleared amount, whether it has been allocated to [platform/account reference], and whether the platform balance has been updated. If a step is pending, please tell us which step and the expected next update.

Keep full payment documents and account details in a private support channel. Public posts do not need those details.

Confirm the process before your next campaign

Before funding, agree on the payment method, funding cutoff, expected processing window and support contact. YC confirms the applicable funding arrangements privately; do not assume instant funding or a universal processing time across platforms.
