Short answer: A useful ad account request for quotation states who will advertise, where, on which platform and at what planned spend. It also asks suppliers to explain account access, costs, funding and support in the same response format. This makes quotes comparable and reduces repeated follow-up questions.
“Send your best agency account price” usually produces a sales pitch. It leaves the supplier to guess your vertical, target market and operational needs. A brief takes a few minutes and gives both sides a better starting point.
Subject: Media account access inquiry — [platform] / [target countries]
We are evaluating advertising account and operational support for our business.
Advertising entity and country of registration: [details]
Website and landing page: [URLs]
Product or service category: [plain description]
Target audience countries: [countries]
Requested platform: [platform]
Current setup: [direct account / agency support / new advertiser]
Planned monthly media spend and currency: [estimate, not a commitment]
Preferred billing currency: [currency]
Desired launch window: [date range]
Main operational need: [onboarding / account access / funding / invoicing / support]
Required access: [campaign management, reporting, administration — explain the need]
Campaign-management scope: [our team / provider / discuss separately]Please confirm advertiser eligibility first, then provide: the contracting and invoicing entity; account arrangement and access rights; itemized charges; funding and reconciliation process; unused-balance terms; support hours and escalation route; required onboarding documents; and any unresolved conditions. If a rebate is offered, please state its qualification and settlement terms separately.
Please identify which points you can confirm now and which require platform or upstream-provider review. Do not assume our preferred launch window is an approved delivery deadline.
Include a public website and an honest description of your offer. If there is a current account restriction or previous rejection relevant to the request, describe it so the supplier can assess the appropriate review route. Opening another arrangement is not a substitute for resolving policy problems.
Keep passwords, authentication codes, API secrets and payment-card details out of an initial inquiry. If the supplier needs business documents later, agree on an appropriate secure collection process and explain the purpose before sending them.
Create one row per requirement, with columns for the supplier's answer, supporting document and unresolved condition. Use “not confirmed” for missing details. An empty field should not become an assumption about price, availability or account permissions.
For timing, distinguish the documents you can prepare, the supplier's own tasks and decisions that belong to the platform. Ask for dependencies and an estimate where appropriate. A supplier response is not proof that the platform has approved your business.
First check eligibility and the account model. Then compare the costs for the same media spend and scope. Finally, have your operations and finance teams review access, payment instructions and unused funds. This order avoids spending time comparing a low price for an arrangement you cannot use.
If a supplier offers a bundle, ask it to separate media spend, account operations, creative work and campaign management. Only request the services you need. A larger bundle is not automatically more useful to an experienced in-house buying team.
No. Give an approximate range and label it as an estimate. The supplier still needs to know the expected scale.
Start with the brief. Confirm the requested onboarding documents and collection process separately.
Use YC Global Tech's inquiry form and paste the relevant brief fields into your requirements. Selected media-access arrangements depend on advertiser eligibility, platform requirements and confirmed commercial terms. This template does not promise approval, a price or a delivery time.
