Weekend Ad Account Top-Ups: A Funding Checklist Before Friday

Your campaigns can run on Saturday while your supplier's funding team is offline. Before buying an agency-supported ad account, ask when a payment becomes usable campaign funding—not just when someone replies to your message.

This checklist is for overseas advertisers working with China-based media suppliers. It helps you agree a funding process before a weekend or holiday. It does not assume every supplier has the same hours or that YC offers round-the-clock funding.

Separate three clocks

Google explains that payment reflection times depend on the method and can be affected by regional processing timelines. A supplier's response-time promise does not change the bank or platform processing time. Check the current instructions for your actual billing country and method.

Ask these questions before choosing a supplier

  1. What are your funding hours, timezone and holiday dates?
  2. What is the cut-off for a complete request with cleared funds?
  3. Can existing cleared funds be allocated outside normal hours? Which platforms are covered?
  4. Who handles a request when the main contact is unavailable?
  5. What evidence confirms allocation and usable balance?
  6. What happens if funding misses the agreed window?

Record normal service hours separately from any emergency arrangement. “Support available” can mean a chat reply, not the ability to credit an account. Confirm scope and any charges in the written quote.

Estimate coverage using a spend scenario

For illustration only, a prepaid account with $2,400 of usable funds and expected spend of $800 per day has about three days of coverage if spend stays at that level. If the next reliable funding opportunity is four days away, the planned coverage is short by $800 before any reserve or additional charges.

Use your planned spend, recent actual spend and a higher-spend scenario. This is a planning estimate, not a guarantee of delivery or a platform spending limit. Keep funds held by the supplier separate from funds already usable in the advertising account.

Handle delays without paying twice

Keep the payment reference, account reference, currency and requested allocation together. If a top-up is missing, locate the delay first: payment, supplier allocation or platform credit. Use our three-stage top-up check before sending another transfer.

If coverage is insufficient, the campaign owner should decide whether to reduce or pause planned spend. Do not assume an agency can extend credit or override the account's billing requirements. Any credit arrangement must be confirmed separately.

Compare operating reliability alongside price

A low fee alone does not tell you whether the supplier's operating hours fit your campaign schedule. Add cut-off, backup contact and funding confirmation to your supplier RFQ. Compare commercial costs using our total-cost worksheet.

Request an account-services quote from YC Global Tech with your website, platform, target markets, expected monthly spend and funding timezone. Ask us to confirm availability, funding hours, fees and account terms before payment.
